COMMUNITY ADAPTATION PROGRAMME
As part of SMARTER's STEP programme, we organize monthly community adaptation programme to expose Individuals with Autism to different social partners and community places for integration to the community as well as provide quality leisure time activities for relaxation and socialization.
The community adaptation programme consists of 4 stages:
Stage 1 - Setting up stage - Planning Stage and preparation of the materials
Stage 2 - Training stage - Learning Concepts & sequential steps
Stage 3 - Experimenting Stage - Simulation and Familiarization of the activity.
Stage 4 - Practice Stage - Actual, Evaluation and Follow up of the activity
